PENTAGON’s Jinho has officially parted ways with CUBE Entertainment after nine years with the agency. On April 15, 2025, CUBE Entertainment released a statement confirming that Jinho’s exclusive contract had ended on April 14, following thorough discussions between both parties.
On April 15, CUBE Entertainment released the following announcement:
“Hello.
This is CUBE Entertainment.
We sincerely thank all the fans who have continuously shown love and support for Jinho of PENTAGON.
We would like to share an announcement about our exclusive contract with Jinho.
Following careful and thorough discussions with our artist, Jinho, his exclusive contract with CUBE Entertainment has come to an end as of April 14, 2025.
Since his debut in 2016 as a member of PENTAGON, Jinho has shown remarkable talent and dedication to music, both as the group’s eldest member and main vocalist and also as a solo artist.
We are deeply grateful to Jinho for his dedication and hard work and will cheer for his bright future as he begins a new chapter in his journey.
We kindly ask for your continued support and warm encouragement for Jinho moving forward.
Thank you.”
Since his debut in 2016, Jinho has been a key member of PENTAGON, serving as the group’s eldest member and main vocalist. He has also pursued solo projects, including the release of his first solo album, CHO:RD, in September 20243.
Jinho’s departure follows the exit of five other PENTAGON members—Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino, and Wooseok—who chose not to renew their contracts in October 2023. Hongseok also left the agency the following month, making Jinho the seventh member to part ways with CUBE Entertainment3.
Despite these changes, the group has reassured fans that PENTAGON has not disbanded. Members have expressed their desire to reunite for performances in the future, even if they do not release new albums.
